Calfood is a critically needed and successful anti-hunger program that millions of families across California rely on to feed their families today. The program allows food banks to purchase CA-grown food, supporting farmers and food producers critical to California’s food economy, while ensuring families have access to food to support their diverse dietary and cultural needs. But CalFood is facing a 70+ million drop in annual funding at the end of June.
Send an email to the Legislature and Governor to urge them to include $60M ongoing plus $50 million one time to sustain CalFood and help people impacted by federal cuts to food assistance in the 2026-2027 Budget.
